I’m an idiot because I think your thoughts and actions should be consistent. I.e. if you’re against violence, don’t perpetrate violence. Did I miss some fundamental thing that allows you to divest your actions (and the consequences thereof) from your thoughts?

And the fact that there are drones flying over major US cities, coupled with the NDAA, the Patriot Act, the attempts at Internet regulation, the overseas interventions, and drug wars are seen as normal by the general population really creeps me out.
